I’ve been needing to change up my hair do for some time now. I usually love to slay a wig with a bang that hangs over my eye on one side (my signature look lol)
but with the spring time here and the weather getting warmer I figured it was time for something new!
I haven’t worn box braids in over 7 years because I hate the length of time it takes me to do them but now that I have them in those seven hours and the soreness in my fingers is well worth it! I love being able to just get up and maybe do a top knot and go if I want to. When I work out I don’t have to worry about sweating out my hair either! #Winning!!!
I wanted to keep what I wore that day simple but elegant so I went with the classic peplum dress and pretty champagne glittery heel with black and gold accessories. I wasn’t sure if I was going to wear the unit of that I did because I’m so use to my black hair but this unit worked out perfectly. I have on MAC foundation, primer, and red lipstick (my classic favorite Ruby Woo) My husband said he had one request and that was for me to marry him with red lipstick on! Urban Decay’s Naked 2 palette and an ELF cosmetics palette on the eyes.
Getting Ready in the guest bathroom (excuse the mess) lol
I was in need of some new hair so this weekend while we were out doing some post Christmas shopping we hit up the local beauty supply. At first I wasn’t going to purchase a full head wig (trying to conserve my pennies) but when I took one look at her I knew I had to have her! She was $59 which isn’t bad at all!

My final first thoughts: This is my first time purchasing a lace front from the Vivica A. Fox collection but so far so good! I will let you dolls know how well she holds up!
